ATTORNEYS NEEDED

Nevada Legal Services has three openings for staff attorneys. One opening is in our Carson City office and one opening is in our Las Vegas office. Both of these attorneys would be responsible for representing clients in housing, public benefits, consumer, Social Security, and limited family law matters. The third opening is a staff attorney position with our legal hotline. This attorney would be responsible for providing advice and counsel to hotline callers and there will be an emphasis on Elder Law issues. This attorney will also conduct be conducting outreach about the hotline to the Senior population. Some experience in Legal Services is preferred, but other experience serving the same type of clientele is acceptable.

Nevada Legal Services also has an opening for the Directing Attorney of our Las Vegas office. The Directing Attorney is responsible for the management of a staff of four attorneys, two paralegals, an intake specialist, two support staff, as well as the staff of the housing and family law self-help centers. The Directing Attorney carries his or her own caseload, as well. At least five years of experience as a Legal Services attorney is required, with prior management experience preferred.
