Posting a Civil Law Library Resource

1. Go to the Civil Law Library by clicking the "Library" link located in the left column.

2. Go to the folder location where you want the item posted. For instance, Consumer Law/Pleadings.

3. Click the "Add a resource" link in the right column to open the Add a Library Resource form.

4. Form: Fill out the Add a Library Resource form. Remember that form fields marked with a red asterisk (*) are required -- that means that if you leave them blank, the website won't accept your submission.

5. Attachments: You need to specify an attachment on the form, such as URL, Word document, AdobePDF or HTML.

  • LINKS: For Internet links, use the "Specify URL" field. Enter the full web site URL like this: http://www.nwjustice.org.
  • FILES: To attach a file, use the "Specify Files" field. Click the "Browse" button to locate the file on your computer or networkand select the file to upload it. IMPORTANT: you can only attach one file of each document type per form -- one Word document, one PDF, etc. You CAN attach several types of files to a library item, but not morethan one of the same file type. Example: a submission with a Word .doc file, a PDF file and an HTML file is OK; a submission with two PDF files or three Word files is not OK.

6. Submit: When you have the required fields completed and have included your attachment, click the Submit button. Your resource will be reviewed by an administrator and posted live to the Civil Law Library. If there's a problem with your submission, the administrator will contact you by email.
